Included, with Greenland, in Professor Webb's tour of forty-eight years before in search of Runic inscriptions which he failed to unearth.
The island is the half of the tour that yielded nothing. Webb searched it for Runic inscriptions and never unearthed them; it was the Greenland leg that gave him the devil-worshipping Eskimo cult and the ritual he carried back to the 1908 meeting.
Of the search itself — where he looked, how long he stayed — nothing comes down with the name.
